Privacy

JC Village publishes notes about places and weeks, not dossiers about neighbours. This page says what the site itself collects. It was written for this notebook and is not a copied policy.

What is written down

Pages on this site are edited by hand. If a person’s name appears, it is because the note would not make sense without it and the person was content to be mentioned. The site does not run a mailing list, a shop, or a comments form.

Mail and server logs

If you write to admin@jc-village.com, that message is read so it can be answered. It is not added to a marketing file. The host keeps ordinary server logs, such as the address of the computer that requested a page, for security and to keep the site online. Those logs are not published.

Pictures

Photographs used as illustrations are stock pictures with a licence that allows this use. They are stored on this site. They are not a record of a private home.

Asking for a change

To ask for a correction, or to ask that a mention be taken down, write to admin@jc-village.com. That is the only contact address published for JC Village.
